Invitadas por el alcalde sr. Jos\u00e9 Manuel Palacios, expone la se\u00f1ora Marianne Katunari\u0107, coordinadora por el proyecto de corredores biol\u00f3gicos de monta\u00f1a.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Ayer martes, expusieron frente al concejo municipal las representantes del proyecto Corredores Biol\u00f3gicos de Monta\u00f1a<\/a><\/strong>. El proyecto cuenta con financiamiento del Fondo Mundial para el Medio Ambiente de Naciones Unidas y entregar\u00e1 a la municipalidad de informaci\u00f3n actualizada sobre biodiversidad y beneficios de los corredores biol\u00f3gicos de monta\u00f1a, permitiendo as\u00ed hacer una mejor gesti\u00f3n de las \u00e1reas silvestres.\u00a0 Un punto destacable que este proyecto que se realiza en coordinaci\u00f3n con la municipalidad no significa ning\u00fan costo a la misma, ya que el financiamiento proviene de fondos internacionales.<\/p>\n

\u00bfQu\u00e9 es un corredor biol\u00f3gico de monta\u00f1a?<\/h2>\n

Es un conjunto de monta\u00f1as que conectan de manera continua o discontinua los procesos ecol\u00f3gicos, facilitando el desplazamiento de las poblaciones y el flujo gen\u00e9tico de las mismas. Es decir, por donde se mueven nuestras especies nativas. (fuente GEF Monta\u00f1a)<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

La Reina comparte una importante franja de monta\u00f1a con las comunas vecinas de Las Condes por el norte y Pe\u00f1alol\u00e9n por el sur, por lo que es un actor relevante en la conservaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad de monta\u00f1a.<\/p>\n
